Parque Adolfo Ruiz Cortinez

An inclusive park designed to accommodate a wide range of users, serving as a restorative and recreational space for the hospital located across the street. The design incorporates tactile paving for visually impaired and elderly users, as well as Morse-code signage and inclusive play equipment.

The layout is based on a diagonal grid that creates intuitive shortcuts and improves circulation throughout the park. Additionally, one of the key objectives was to control the previously overgrown vegetation, which has been reorganized through a system of planters and seating spaces aligned with the same diagonal geometry.
